Red Line 4-Cycle Alcohol Fuel Lubricant is engineered to protect high-performance engines from the corrosive and abrasive nature of alcohol-based fuels. Methanol, nitromethane, and E85 are "dry" fuels that can wash essential lubrication from the cylinder walls and fuel system components. This additive restores that lubrication, improving ring seal and protecting against gelling and corrosion within the fuel system.
During dyno testing, adding one bottle to 20 gallons of race gas demonstrated a 1.5% increase in torque due to improved ring seal. The formula is designed to be undetectable by standard fuel tests and mixes thoroughly with only slight agitation. It effectively replaces the lubrication lost to fuel wash, extending the life of upper cylinder components and fuel pumps.
