The BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox (CDA) is a high-performance universal filtration system designed for engines with a displacement greater than 1600cc. Unlike standard factory air boxes or open-element filters, the CDA utilizes a genuine carbon fiber housing to insulate the intake air from engine bay heat soak, ensuring a denser, cooler oxygen charge reaches the combustion chamber for improved volumetric efficiency.

Inside the carbon cylinder, a washable, multi-layer cotton air filter works in tandem with an internal flow deflector. This aerodynamic design minimizes pressure drops and creates a constant pressure airflow into the intake manifold, resulting in sharper throttle response and increased power throughout the RPM range. This universal kit (ACCDA85-150) is engineered for high-volume air requirements with 85mm diameter inlet and outlet ports.
