The BMC FB838/01 high-performance replacement panel air filter is engineered to provide higher airflow and more efficient filtration than traditional paper elements. Designed as a direct drop-in for the factory airbox, this filter utilizes a multi-layered cotton gauze media soaked in low-viscosity oil to capture contaminants as small as 7 microns while minimizing pressure drop.
- High-permeability cotton gauze construction for increased engine intake volume.
- Epoxy-coated alloy mesh protects the filter structure against fuel fumes and oxidation.
- Single-piece "Full Moulding" construction ensures a perfect airtight seal with no stress-cracking or leakage.
- Washable and reusable using BMC cleaning kits, eliminating the need for recurring filter replacements.
- Maintains factory engine protection levels with improved breathability for the C 160 powertrain.
