The BMC FB845/20 Performance Air Filter Full Kit is a high-flow, direct-replacement solution designed to improve induction efficiency for the twin-turbocharged Mercedes V8 engine. Unlike standard paper filters that must be discarded, BMC filters utilize a multi-layered cotton gauze media soaked in low-viscosity oil to trap impurities as small as 7 microns without significantly obstructing airflow.
