The Airaid Modular Intake Tube (MIT) is engineered to optimize engine performance by replacing the restrictive factory intake accordion tube. By providing a smooth, internal path to the throttle body, this tube increases airflow capacity by up to 400 CFM over stock components. This reduction in intake turbulence results in improved throttle response and increased horsepower and torque.
Constructed from durable, cross-linked high-density polyethylene (XLPE), the MIT is custom-molded for specific vehicle applications. It is designed for versatility, functioning as a standalone upgrade for the factory air box or as an addition to an Airaid Cold Air Dam QuickFit series system. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process that utilizes basic hand tools and requires no permanent modifications.
