The aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System is engineered to maximize airflow and thermal efficiency for your GM truck or SUV. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a smooth, one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). It features a patented filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9440175) that simplifies the design and allows for a significantly larger air filter than the OE unit. A clear, built-in sight window enables quick filter inspections without disassembling the system.

At the heart of the system is the Pro 5R filter, a 360-degree radial flow element using five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This pre-oiled media is designed for maximum flow in street applications, and the inverted top design increases surface area for extended service intervals. The dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube is computer-designed to optimize air velocity while resisting heat soak. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting points and air inlets with premium stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and a bellows coupler for maximum durability.
