The aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R cold air intake is engineered to maximize airflow and filtration for the Ford 3.5L EcoBoost engine. This system features a unique, one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) that incorporates the factory air inlet scoop and seals to the hood to block out power-robbing engine heat. A large, clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without requiring tools or disassembly.

Air is channeled through dual 3-inch mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum intake tubes. These tubes direct unrestricted airflow from the massive 9-inch tall radial flow filter to the turbos, while a connecting hose balances air intake pressure between the banks. The included Pro 5R media utilizes five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze to provide maximum airflow while maintaining superior filtration efficiency for street use.
