The APR Carbon Fiber Intake System is a comprehensive solution that replaces the entire factory intake tract from the inlet scoop to the turbocharger inlets. While many systems focus solely on the airbox, APR addresses the significant restriction found in the factory turbocharger inlet pipe. By utilizing high-strength carbon fiber, this system features thinner wall construction to maximize internal diameter, maintaining a large flow path from the massive 7-inch filter all the way to the turbos. This design reduces pressure drop, improves turbocharger linearization, and allows the 2.9T engine to breathe more efficiently.
- Flows 36% more than the stock intake system
- Delivers gains of +19 AWHP and +17 AWFT-LBS (tested with APR Stage 1 93 octane tune)
- Full system includes inlet scoop, airbox, high-flow filter, and inlet piping
- Massive 7" x 7" pleated cotton gauze filter with 4" outlet and 5.5" frontal inlet
- Billet turbo adapter rings for precise fitment and compatibility with larger turbos
- Lightweight carbon fiber construction for optimized internal volume and engine bay aesthetics
- Includes new OEM gaskets for a leak-free installation
