The HKS DryCarbon Suction Kit (70026-AT001) is engineered to optimize the intake path of the FA20 engine by replacing the restrictive, corrugated factory rubber intake hose with a smooth-walled, lightweight dry carbon fiber pipe. This upgrade reduces internal turbulence and intake resistance, allowing for improved airflow efficiency to the throttle body and a more responsive engine feel.
Each pipe is manufactured using autoclave-cured dry carbon fiber, a material choice that provides exceptional heat resistance and structural integrity compared to standard plastic or wet carbon alternatives. This ensures the intake maintains its shape under vacuum and high engine bay temperatures while adding a premium, race-inspired aesthetic to the engine compartment.
