The Borla S-Type Axle-Back exhaust system (part number 11828) is engineered to provide a significant acoustic and performance upgrade for the ninth-generation Honda Civic. This rear-section exhaust replaces the restrictive factory muffler with high-flow, mandrel-bent 2.25-inch T-304 stainless steel tubing. The S-Type muffler design is specifically tuned to deliver an aggressive, throaty exhaust note under acceleration while maintaining a drone-free experience inside the cabin during cruising.
Built for long-term durability, the system uses premium T-304 stainless steel, which offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 400-series or aluminized steel. The system is finished with a 4.25-inch x 3.5-inch oval polished tip for a refined, custom appearance. As a direct-fit component, it utilizes factory mounting points for a precise, bolt-on installation.
