The Dinan D660-0091-BLK valved axleback exhaust system provides a significant acoustic and aesthetic upgrade for the B48-powered BMW platform. Fabricated from 100% brushed T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, this system replaces the restrictive factory exhaust while utilizing original mounting points and factory cut locations for a precision fit. The design significantly increases flow by transitioning from 85mm piping to dual 60mm paths, compared to the smaller factory dual 83mm configuration.
Aesthetically, the system replaces the standard 90mm slash-cut tips with massive 102mm (4-inch) double-walled, black ceramic-coated tips featuring laser-engraved Dinan logos. To maintain refinement, Dinan utilizes drone abatement technologies to reduce unwanted cabin resonance, ensuring the deep, sporty growl is enjoyed without fatigue. This system is designed to retain full factory electronic valve control, allowing the vehicle to manage sound levels based on drive mode.
