The Dinan Freeflow Axleback Exhaust for the G8x chassis provides a significant upgrade in both sound and performance without sacrificing cabin comfort. By increasing the tubing diameter to 76mm (up from the factory 70mm), this system reduces backpressure and improves flow throughout the entire assembly. To ensure a drone-free experience in both sedan and coupe body styles, Dinan utilizes specific drone abatement technologies along with absorption and reactive muffler internals.

This system retains the factory computer-controlled exhaust valve actuators, allowing you to adjust the exhaust note via your BMW M-Drive settings. When the valves are closed, gases are routed through the muffler for a deep, civilized tone. Under high-load conditions, the valves open to provide a near straight-pipe flow for maximum auditory feedback and performance. Constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel, the system is finished with quad 4.5-inch black ceramic coated tips and is 6 pounds lighter than the original equipment.
