Fits select 2003-2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD models. This complete Carli Extreme-Duty Ball Joint Package (CS-DBJP-03) replaces the failure-prone factory ball joints with a robust, rebuildable solution designed to handle the lateral loads and weight of heavy-duty Ram trucks.

Carli's upper ball joints utilize a unique design where the pin contacts the housing at the "hat," creating a secondary wear surface to better distribute lateral forces. The lower joints feature a spherical design with a bronze wear surface preloaded by a disc spring, ensuring tight tolerances throughout the steering cycle. To maximize longevity, the joints undergo a specialized carburizing process using copper masking to achieve a case-hardness depth of 0.020"-0.025" on wear surfaces, while the exterior is protected by a gray corrosion-resistant coating and Viton seals.
