The Cognito Alpha PRO Ball Joint (MPN: 199-91350) is a patented, heavy-duty solution for independent front suspension (IFS) systems. It features a unique bootless scraper-type seal that eliminates the common failure point of traditional rubber grease boots, which are prone to tearing and environmental degradation. The joint is engineered with alloy steel internals and alloy races, completely removing the plastic liners found in standard joints to provide significantly higher pullout strength and extended service life.

Built for high-angle performance, this ball joint accommodates the increased suspension travel of leveled or lifted trucks. The carburized and surface-coated taper pin features an oversized sphere to maximize contact surface area within the socket. While the unit arrives pre-greased with Lithium Complex Grade 2 lubricant, it includes a top-mounted grease fitting for periodic maintenance.
