This King Engine Bearings thrust washer set is a critical component for engine builders and enthusiasts maintaining or rebuilding 4G63 and 4G64 7-bolt powerplants, including those found in the Lancer Evolution V-IX. These washers are engineered to precisely control crankshaft axial movement (end play), preventing damage to the block and crankshaft during high-load scenarios and clutch engagement.
Manufactured to exacting tolerances, the TW173AM set replaces worn factory thrust bearings to restore proper clearances and ensure long-term engine reliability under performance conditions. This set is a direct replacement for the original equipment thrust washers in the 7-bolt crankshaft configuration.
