The Roush Heavy Duty Belt Tensioner is engineered to manage the increased rotational forces exerted on the Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) in supercharged applications. Originally included as standard equipment in 2010 ROUSHcharger systems, this unit provides the necessary spring tension and structural rigidity to prevent belt slip and ensure consistent power delivery under high-load conditions.
This tensioner serves as a direct replacement for 2010 ROUSHcharger kits and is a recommended upgrade for all single-belt TVS R2300 ROUSH supercharger systems installed on 2005-2009 Mustang GT models. It is built to withstand the rigorous demands of high-performance driving while maintaining proper belt alignment.
