The Covercraft Gust Guard Car Cover Retention Kit provides an extra layer of security for your vehicle cover during high winds and stormy weather. This system prevents the cover from flapping, shifting, or blowing off completely, protecting your vehicle's finish from the abrasive effects of wind-driven fabric movement.
Designed for easy installation, the kit utilizes four heavy-duty Gust Guard clamps that bite firmly onto the hem of the cover without damaging the material. Two lengths of high-stretch bungee cord connect the clamps across the underside of the vehicle at the front and rear, creating a tensioned anchor point that keeps the cover snug against the bodywork. It is a necessary upgrade for anyone storing a vehicle outdoors in open areas or coastal regions prone to sudden gusts.
