The DFC 73-24 parking brake hardware kit is designed to restore proper tension and alignment to your vehicle's rear drum-style parking brake system. Over time, heat cycles and corrosion fatigue factory return springs, pins, and clips, leading to dragging shoes, uneven wear, or parking brake failure. This kit replaces those fatigued components to ensure consistent shoe engagement and a clean release, which minimizes parasitic drag and improves fuel efficiency.
