Designed for sportsman category door cars, the Wilwood Forged Dynalite (FDL) Rear Drag Kit provides a purpose-built, lightweight braking solution for drag racing applications. This true bolt-on system is engineered for vehicles utilizing New Big Ford housing ends with a 2.50in axle offset, delivering reliable four-wheel disc brake performance while significantly reducing rotating mass.
The kit features Wilwood’s high-strength four-piston Forged Dynalite calipers, which provide even clamping force over 3/8-inch thick plate steel rotors. These rotors are mounted to the axle using lightweight aluminum hats to minimize unsprung weight. The drilled rotor configuration is specifically chosen to further reduce driveline weight in competitive classes where every ounce matters for ET consistency and acceleration.
