The Kartboy Rear Lockdown Bolts (KB-066-LOCK) are engineered to eliminate unwanted movement in the rear subframe. From the factory, the subframe is mounted via soft rubber bushings that allow the assembly to shift under load, leading to a vague handling feel and drivetrain slop during aggressive shifts or hard cornering.
By threading these high-strength bolts through the subframe and directly into existing chassis points, you effectively lock the subframe in place. This provides a rigid connection that improves throttle response and stabilizes the rear suspension geometry without the need for a full bushing press-out.
