The Wilwood CPB (Combination Parking Brake) Series rear brake kit provides a specialized hydro-mechanical solution for enthusiasts looking to balance stopping power with reliable parking brake functionality. These calipers utilize hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder for standard braking while incorporating an internal mechanical lock for the parking brake. This design is engineered specifically for vehicles like the Mini Cooper that are not well-suited for internal shoe-style parking brakes.
The system features oversized 11.75-inch two-piece rotor assemblies with lightweight aluminum hats to reduce unsprung weight and improve heat management. The drilled rotor surfaces further enhance cooling and pad outgassing, while the included BP-10 compound pads provide consistent friction and response for high-performance street use.
