The Wilwood CPB (Combination Parking Brake) Rear Kit provides a specialized braking solution for SN95 and New Edge Mustangs. These kits feature high-performance hydro-mechanical calipers that utilize hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder for standard stopping power while maintaining an internal mechanical lock for the parking brake. This design is specifically engineered for rear-wheel-drive axles where internal shoe-style parking brakes are not compatible or desired.
The system centers around oversized 12.88-inch two-piece rotor assemblies, featuring aluminum hats to reduce unsprung weight and cross-drilled surfaces for improved heat dissipation and gas venting. Paired with Wilwood SmartPad BP-10 high-friction compound pads, this kit provides the balanced brake performance necessary to complement front big brake upgrades.
