Motul RBF 660 is a 100% synthetic, non-silicone brake fluid specifically engineered for the extreme thermal demands of competitive racing. Designed to maintain pedal feel and hydraulic integrity under the intense heat generated by carbon and ceramic brake systems, RBF 660 allows for smaller brake cooling ducts to improve vehicle aerodynamics without risking fluid failure.
- Dry Boiling Point: 328°C (622°F)
- Wet Boiling Point: 204°C (399°F)
- Standards: FMVSS 116 DOT 4, SAE J1703
- Compatible with steel rotors and hydraulic clutch actuators
- Exceeds DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 standards (except for -40°C viscosity)
- Part Number: 101666
Installation Note: Do not mix with silicone (DOT 5) or mineral-based (LHM) fluids. Avoid mixing with standard polyglycol fluids to maintain the high-performance boiling point. Store only in the original, tightly sealed container to prevent moisture absorption, which can lead to vapor lock.
