The R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Hose is engineered to eliminate the spongy pedal feel associated with factory rubber lines. Unlike OEM hoses that expand under hydraulic pressure, this braided stainless steel hose maintains its integrity, ensuring maximum force is transferred directly to the caliper. This results in a firmer, more responsive brake pedal and significantly improved modulation during daily driving or spirited performance use.
Construction features a high-strength PTFE inner core for superior pressure resistance, wrapped in a stainless steel weave for structural durability. An abrasion-resistant clear PVC outer coating protects the assembly from road debris, dirt, and corrosion, ensuring a long service life. This hose is precision-engineered for a direct-fit installation to factory mounting points and is United States DOT approved for street-legal safety compliance.
