Standard rubber brake hoses are susceptible to expansion under high hydraulic pressure, which often results in a soft or "spongy" brake pedal. R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Lines are engineered to eliminate this flex by utilizing a PTFE inner core reinforced with a high-strength stainless steel braided exterior. This construction ensures that hydraulic pressure is delivered directly to the calipers for a firmer, more responsive pedal and improved brake modulation.
To ensure long-term reliability in harsh environments, each hose features a clear, abrasion-resistant PVC outer coating that protects the stainless steel weave from dirt, road debris, and corrosion. These lines are built to handle the demands of daily driving, towing, and spirited performance use while maintaining strict safety compliance.
