The R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Line (HSK-40042) is a performance-oriented replacement for the factory rubber hose on the front left position. Unlike original equipment rubber lines that swell and expand under hydraulic load, this hose features a braided stainless steel exterior that maintains its shape even under heavy braking pressure. This rigidity translates directly to a firmer, more communicative brake pedal and eliminates the "spongy" feel often found in older brake systems.
Internally, the hose is constructed with a PTFE core that is highly resistant to heat and pressure. The stainless steel braid is protected by a clear, abrasion-resistant PVC outer coating that shields the line from debris, road salt, and chaffing against suspension components.
