The R1 Concepts HSK-67046 Stainless Steel Brake Hose is engineered to eliminate the spongy pedal feel common with aged factory rubber lines. Unlike standard rubber hoses that expand under high hydraulic pressure, this stainless steel braided hose provides a more rigid conduit for brake fluid. This reduction in line expansion results in a firmer, more responsive brake pedal and more precise modulation, which is critical during spirited driving, track use, or heavy braking scenarios.
This performance brake line is constructed with a PTFE inner core that provides superior resistance to heat and pressure. The core is reinforced with a high-strength stainless steel braided weave to prevent hose expansion and is finished with a clear, abrasion-resistant PVC outer coating. This coating protects the stainless braid from debris, dirt, and chaffing against suspension components, ensuring a long service life. Each hose is DOT approved to meet strict safety and quality standards for street use.
