R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Lines replace factory rubber hoses to eliminate the "spongy" pedal feel caused by hose expansion under high hydraulic pressure. These performance lines feature a PTFE inner core reinforced with a high-strength stainless steel braided weave, ensuring consistent brake response and improved modulation. This increased hydraulic efficiency is critical for maintaining driver confidence during aggressive driving, towing, or spirited street use.
For maximum service life, each line is encased in an abrasion-resistant clear PVC outer coating that protects the stainless braid from dirt, debris, and corrosion. These lines are United States DOT approved to meet strict safety standards for street use and are precision-engineered for a direct-fit installation using factory-style mounting points.
