EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust while improving stopping power. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles, providing a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Designed to withstand repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain consistent performance from cold through high operating temperatures, reducing heat-induced fade.

The non-metallic formula contains no steel fibers, resulting in 60-90% less dust than original equipment pads. Any minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily cleaned with a simple wash. Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Red “Brake-In” surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the initial bed-in process. Note that Redstuff is a hard-wearing compound; a full bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles may be required for the pads to fully conform to the rotor surface.
