EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered as the ultimate street upgrade for high-performance premium sedans. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads deliver a significant reduction in brake dust—up to 50% compared to OE semi-metallic pads—while providing a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for superior stopping power. Unlike traditional metallic pads, the dust produced by Redstuff is non-abrasive and easily removed with a standard sponge wash.
Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain high friction levels with low heat fade. Each pad features the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Please note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, these pads require a patient bed-in period of approximately 1,000 miles to achieve full rotor contact and optimal performance.
