EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are a premium synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, specifically engineered for high-performance street use. These pads provide a high cold bite that matches or exceeds OE performance while maintaining effectiveness under repeated heavy braking. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, Redstuff offers a significant performance upgrade for passenger cars, sport compacts, and muscle cars, having been proven to stop vehicles significantly quicker than standard OEM pads.

A primary benefit of the Redstuff compound is its low-dust nature. By eliminating steel fibers, EBC has reduced brake dust by approximately 50% to 90% compared to semi-metallic alternatives. The resulting dust is non-abrasive and can be easily removed with a sponge wash. Each pad features the specialized EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the initial bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing pad, the full bed-in period can reach up to 1,000 miles.
