The DBA 5000 Series XS provides the ultimate in braking performance and thermal management for high-performance street and track applications. This two-piece rotor utilizes a lightweight aluminum hat (hub) bolted to a high-carbon cast iron disc. This construction significantly reduces unsprung weight and allows the friction ring to expand independently of the hat, preventing warping and heat soak during extreme use.
The XS design features a premium non-directional cross-drilled and slotted pattern. This configuration increases initial pad bite and provides a clear path for brake dust and gases to escape, ensuring consistent pedal feel. The gold hat finish offers superior corrosion resistance while providing a distinct look behind the wheels.
