The DFC Hi-Carbon Alloy Geomet Coated Brake Rotor (900-31055D) provides the structural integrity and thermal stability required for performance braking applications. Cast from premium G3000/G11H18 iron, this rotor is designed to withstand the heat and stress of the E46 M3 braking system. It utilizes an Original Equipment (OE) vane configuration to maintain maximum heat dissipation and prevent thermal fade.
Each rotor undergoes 100% precision mill-balancing to ensure zero vibration at any speed and a smooth pedal feel. The braking surface features a fine 16 RMS turned finish, which promotes superior pad-to-rotor bed-in and initial bite. To protect against oxidation and maintain a clean appearance, the entire unit is Geomet coated for high-performance corrosion resistance.
