Each shoe is manufactured from 100% new carbon steel and undergoes a high-temperature dipping process in black anti-rust paint to ensure long-term corrosion resistance and durability in harsh undercar environments.
These semi-metallic shoes are precision arc ground for a perfect shoe-to-drum contact patch, preventing drag and ensuring consistent engagement. The friction material is bonded or riveted to the steel backing per OE specifications, utilizing specialized glue linings and treatments to ensure maximum friction-to-steel bonding strength.
