R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Lines replace factory rubber hoses to eliminate the spongy pedal feel caused by hose expansion under hydraulic pressure. By utilizing a high-strength stainless steel braided weave over a PTFE inner core, these lines maintain their integrity during heavy braking, ensuring a firm, consistent pedal response and better brake modulation. This is a critical upgrade for aging Audi 80 braking systems where original rubber lines may be prone to degradation or swelling.
To ensure long-term reliability in harsh environments, each line is finished with an abrasion-resistant clear PVC outer coating that protects the stainless steel braid from road debris, dirt, and corrosion. These kits are precision-engineered for a direct-fit installation, utilizing factory-style mounting points to simplify the swap from OE components.
