ACL Race Series performance main bearings are engineered for the high-stress environment of BMW's turbocharged inline-six engines. This 7M1397HX-STD set features the specific "HX" extra oil clearance profile, providing an additional 0.025mm (0.001") of clearance compared to standard bearings. This increased gap facilitates improved oil flow and film thickness, which is essential for high-performance engine builds, track-driven vehicles, or forced induction applications where thermal loads are elevated.
