This ACL high-performance rod bearing set is designed for demanding engine builds that require enhanced thermal management and precision tolerances. These bearings feature the CT-1 dry film lubricant coating, which provides a sacrificial layer of protection to reduce friction and prevent galling during cold starts or temporary oil pressure drops. The "HX" extra oil clearance specification provides an additional 0.001" (0.025mm) of clearance, allowing for better oil flow and the use of high-viscosity lubricants in high-load RB and SR20 engine applications.
