The ACT SB5-HDSS kit is a premier drivetrain upgrade designed for performance-oriented street vehicles. It combines ACT’s Heavy Duty pressure plate with their most popular Performance Street sprung disc to increase clamp load and torque capacity while maintaining excellent drivability. This setup is ideal for modified cars requiring more holding power than an OE clutch can provide.

The Heavy Duty pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to maximize clutch life and reduce deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process for consistent performance. The Performance Street disc features a high copper content in its organic friction material to improve heat transfer, supported by a steel-backed lining for increased burst strength and durability. Reduced marcel enables faster shift action to complement the increased rigidity of the precision-stamped cover.
