The ACT 4240008 4-pad rigid race disc is engineered for the demands of competitive racing. By utilizing high-quality ceramic friction materials, this disc offers high heat capacity and exceptional durability under extreme conditions. The rigid (un-sprung) hub design eliminates the weight and complexity of springs, providing a direct link between the engine and transmission for the fastest possible shifts and immediate engagement.
Each disc is assembled using top-grade rivets, carefully selected and tested for maximum shear strength and reliability. While the rigid design results in harsher engagement compared to street-spec discs, it is the preferred choice for drivers prioritizing shift speed and high-RPM performance in smaller-displacement engines.
