Fits 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 (Base, R1, R2, and Touring models). This ACT XT-M Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit is engineered for high-performance street use and spirited driving where increased clamp load and heat capacity are required.
The included ZX6-XTSS kit features the ACT Xtreme pressure plate, which utilizes a proprietary diaphragm design that has undergone a four-stage heat-treating process. This construction reduces deflection and maximizes clutch life while providing a significant increase in clamping force over the factory unit. The pressure plate is built with precision cover stampings for consistent performance and rigidity.
The Performance Street disc features a premium organic friction material with high copper content for superior heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for high burst strength. The disc is designed with a reduced marcel for quicker shift response and a sprung hub to dampen driveline vibrations. This kit also includes the ACT Monoloc, a one-piece hardened chrome-moly steel wedge collar that replaces the standard two-piece ring in the pull-type clutch system for improved reliability and alignment.
