The ACT SB10-XTSS Xtreme Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit is engineered for high-performance street use where increased torque capacity and durability are required. This kit centers around the Xtreme pressure plate, which utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design and a four-stage heat-treating process to significantly increase clamp load while reducing deflection. The precision-stamped cover provides the rigidity needed for consistent engagement under demanding driving conditions.
Paired with ACT's Performance street disc, this setup features a premium organic friction material with a high copper content for superior heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for exceptional burst strength. The disc is designed with a reduced marcel to enable faster shift action, while the sprung hub absorbs driveline vibrations for quieter operation.
This kit also includes the ACT Monoloc, a one-piece chrome-moly steel wedge collar that replaces the standard two-piece OEM design. This upgrade ensures uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate, preventing common pull-type clutch release issues.
