The ACT T1SS-F17 Mod-Twin 10.5 HD Sprung Street Kit is engineered specifically for high-performance street applications where drivability and torque capacity are equally critical. This modular twin-disc system doubles the organic friction surface area to handle significant power increases while maintaining a manageable, consistent pedal feel through a specialized four-stage heat-treated diaphragm spring. The heart of the system is the ultra-durable sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, which reduces driveline shock and protects the input shaft from harmful torsional vibrations.
Built for longevity and serviceability, the Mod-Twin series is fully rebuildable with replaceable discs. The steel-backed friction plates provide a stable friction coefficient and high heat capacity, ensuring reliable engagement during spirited driving. This comprehensive kit includes everything needed for a complete installation, featuring a dynamically balanced flywheel and the patented Monoloc collar to ensure secure release bearing attachment.
