By reducing rotational mass compared to the OE unit, this flywheel allows the F20C and F22C engines to rev more freely, significantly improving throttle response and acceleration. This reduction in inertia is ideal for high-performance applications where rapid RPM changes and precise heel-toe downshifting are required.
Forged from high-tensile chromoly steel, these flywheels undergo a specialized heat-treatment process to ensure maximum durability and superior thermal capacity. Each flywheel is tested to sustain speeds up to 18,000 RPM, providing peace of mind for high-revving builds. Unlike many aluminum flywheels, this chromoly version is fully resurfaceable, allowing for an extended service life across multiple clutch intervals.
