The Action Clutch Chromoly Lightweight Flywheel is engineered for street and race applications where rapid engine response and high-strength durability are required. Precision-machined from chromoly steel and subjected to a specialized heat-treatment process, this flywheel is designed to withstand extreme centrifugal forces and maintain high thermal capacity under load.
By significantly reducing rotational mass compared to the factory unit, this flywheel allows the engine to rev more freely, improving acceleration and throttle sensitivity. Unlike many lightweight alternatives, these chromoly units are fully resurfacable, ensuring a longer service life. Note that the reduction in rotational mass may introduce additional noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) into the cabin.
