The AEM 21-699C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and lower air temperatures to optimize performance on turbocharged Mini Cooper S models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic filter. A standout feature of this kit is the replacement air box and integrated hood scoop adapter, specifically designed to draw cooler outside air directly into the intake tract to combat heat soak.
- Mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubing with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish.
- Oil-free AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter allows for up to 100,000 miles of service before cleaning (depending on conditions).
