The AEM 21-478C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by delivering cooler, denser oxygen to your engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat. It includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the intake air from engine bay heat, while retaining the factory fresh air duct for maximum cooling efficiency.
At the heart of this system is an oversized AEM DRYFLOW synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides exceptional filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions. The bolt-on design allows for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes with standard hand tools.
