The AEM 21-750 Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air box and paper filter with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent intake tract. This system was precision-tuned and dyno-tested to ensure specific performance gains for Audi's 2.0L turbocharged engines while maintaining compatibility with the factory mass air flow (MAF) sensor and emissions equipment.
At the heart of this system is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. The tapered-cylinder design uses oil-free synthetic media, providing excellent filtration efficiency and high airflow without the need for re-oiling. The filter is housed in the original air box location and is protected by a custom-designed heat shield to keep intake temperatures low by isolating the filter from engine bay heat.
- Washable Dryflow Filter: Synthetic, oil-free media requires no oiling and can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required.
- Bolt-On Installation: Designed to mount to factory points using commonly available hand tools.
- Heat Shield Included: Features an AEM-embossed heat shield to reduce heat soak and improve oxygen density.
- Direct Fit: Replaces manufacturer part number 21-750 and retains factory emissions control devices.
