The AEM 21-884C Performance Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory airbox and filter housing, allowing your engine to breathe more freely. Designed and dyno-tested to improve response, this system utilizes a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat for long-term corrosion resistance and a clean engine bay aesthetic.
At the heart of the system is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, tapered cylinder filter provides exceptional filtration and airflow without the need for re-oiling. The media is washable and reusable, capable of lasting up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required under normal driving conditions. To further protect the intake charge from ambient engine bay heat, a custom-shaped heat shield with an integrated lid is included for a complete, sealed-style installation.
