The AEM 21-856C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air box and paper filter. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat, designed to maintain smooth, laminar airflow into the engine. By relocating the air filter into the original air box space and utilizing a custom heat shield, this intake helps reduce inlet temperatures for a denser oxygen charge.

Equipped with an oversized, tapered-cylinder AEM Dryflow air filter, this system provides exceptional filtration without the need for oil. The synthetic media is washable and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. The system is designed to accommodate all factory emissions components, including the mass airflow (MAF) sensor and breather tube, for a straightforward installation using common hand tools.
