The AEM 21-867C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to improve horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, ensuring smooth, laminar airflow to the engine. To protect the intake charge from engine bay heat, the system includes a vehicle-specific heat shield that utilizes the original air box space.
Filtration is handled by an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, tapered cylinder media provides excellent filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving conditions. The system is designed to accommodate all factory emissions control devices, including the mass airflow (MAF) sensor and breather tube, for a straightforward installation using common tools.
